Rome based multimedia duo of Sladzana Bogeska and Giuseppe Pradella collaborates and performs together since 2005. Interested in mixture of artistic languages, they produce projects centered on the relationship between images and sound through different form as experimental non narrative video, audio video performances, sound visualization. Their live performances and synaesthetic projects create and use the sound as direct expressive potential and as medium that goes along with the video creation process and development. They are re/searching and exploring the expressive potential and the reversible processes of the digital media, leaving space for free expression and variation.

xx + xy visuals have performed live at Vision Sonic Paris, Storung Barcelona, REC Live Cinema, Dokfest Kassel, EMU Fest Rome, Cronosfera Festival Turin, MUV Firenze, Meet in town Auditorium PM Rome etc. xx + xy visuals developed the visual concepts for Murcof’s album Cosmos [Leaf] and performed internationally at Mutek in Montreal, Dissonanze in Rome, Play Festival Madrid, Shift Electronic Arts Festival Basel, Evolution Leeds, Storung 3.0 in Barcelona and others.

One half of the duo, the Macedonian video artist Sladzana Bogeska will prepare visuals for the music performances at the festival.
