Roman Flügel, a producer and DJ, is one of most established artists in the German electronic music scene. Active since the early 1990's, Flügel is a chameleon visiting many styles from ambient to bleeping house, cracking techno, futuristic Italo disco and electro.

Roman Flügel recorded numerous records under the following monikers: Acid Jesus, Alter Ego, and Sensorama together with his studio partner Joern Elling Wuttke, as well as the solo projects Eight Miles High, Soylent Green…

Roman Flügel is constantly striving to sound experiments and rebellious changes of style: from airy Sensorama tracks with Wuttke to the Alter Ego’s hard techno, from the playful sounds as Acid Jesus to the dry aesthetics as Soylent Green. Roman has also remixed tracks for Primal Scream, Human League, Chicks On Speed, Blaze, Baby Ford, David Holmes, Sven Väth and many others.  Names like Mouse on Mars, Two Lone Swordsmen, Plaid or Herbert appear under the list of his remixers.

He is also a label co-owner of the notable Ongaku, Klang and Playhouse.
