It is our pleasure to present the third edition of the de:sonanz - festival of electronic music and media art.  This year as well, the festival will bring the contemporary tendencies in electronic music, improvisation and video art closer to the Macedonian public through the performances of renowned artists from Germany, Norway, Hungary, Macedonia and the region.

This year we will have the cult Mouse on Mars with their multilayer eclectic harmonies and atmospheres, the micro-worlds of Isolee hidden under bent textures, rhythmic elegance of Roman Fluegel.  Schneider TM will invoke the urban Berlin atmosphere with his Construction Sounds, visually “mapped” by the famous media artist and lecturer Lillevan.

The educational festival program will transcend geographic and age boundaries. The workshop Sample&Hold, with participation of artists from southeastern Europe and this country, will focus on the so called field recordings - exploration of the sound features of urban areas in Skopje.  In addition, children of the age of 9 to 12, together with members of the art collective Staalplaat Soundsystem will have an opportunity to create and present music instruments made from old household appliances.

A significant part of the program will include the famous Macedonian artists Andreas Hz and Mirko Popov, and visual support will be provided by the internationally renowned Macedonian video artist Sladjana Bogeska - xx+xy visuals.
